Program Overview
Gas welding and cutting operations are fundamental processes in construction, fabrication, maintenance, and manufacturing. But they also involve open flames, compressed gases, intense heat, and toxic fumes - making them among the most hazardous workplace activities when performed without proper training. ICLM's Gas Welding and Cutting Training delivers the technical knowledge and safety skills required to perform these operations competently and safely.
Oxy-fuel welding and cutting processes use a combination of oxygen and fuel gases (acetylene, LPG, or hydrogen) to produce flames exceeding 3,000°C. The hazards are numerous: fire and explosion from gas leaks, burns from spatter and flame, eye damage from UV radiation, toxic fume inhalation, and oxygen-enriched atmosphere risks. Proper training addresses each of these hazards systematically.
