Half-Day Training

Practical half-day certification program focused on operational safety, compliance confidence, and site-level risk control.

Program Overview

The program covers the complete lifecycle of explosives in industrial use: classification and identification, transportation from the supplier, receipt and storage in the magazine, preparation for use, hole loading and initiation, blast execution, and post-blast duties including misfire management. All content is aligned with applicable national explosives regulations, ATF requirements, UN recommendations, and industry best practice standards. ICLM's instructors bring extensive real-world experience in mining, quarrying, and demolition explosive operations - ensuring the training is practical, credible, and directly applicable.

This is precisely why ICLM's Explosives Handling and Storage Safety Training treats every element of explosives safety with equal rigour - from the seemingly routine task of signing explosives in and out of a magazine, to the critical procedures for managing a misfire or hangfire when everything has gone wrong and the pressure to move quickly is intense. This training does not produce experts in explosive formulation or blast design - it produces safe, responsible, compliance-conscious explosives handlers and storekeepers who understand that the procedures they follow are written in the experiences of those who came before them.
