Half-Day Training

Practical half-day certification program focused on operational safety, compliance confidence, and site-level risk control.

Program Overview

Road traffic accidents are the single largest cause of occupational fatality worldwide - surpassing falls, chemical exposures, and industrial machinery incidents combined in many sectors. Every year, companies lose employees, face devastating legal liability, and pay enormous insurance premiums as a result of vehicle accidents that - with proper driver training - could have been prevented. Whether your team drives company vehicles daily or only occasionally travels for business purposes, defensive driving training is one of the highest-return safety investments any organization can make.
Defensive driving is not about driving slowly or timidly. It is about being constantly aware of the environment, anticipating the actions of other road users, and making proactive decisions that keep a safety margin between your vehicle and potential hazards. A defensive driver recognizes that they cannot control other road users' behaviour - but they can absolutely control their own following distances, speed choices, vehicle condition, attentiveness, and decision-making quality.

ICLM's Defensive Driving Training is practical, engaging, and directly applicable to the vehicles and road environments your team actually encounters. Our instructors combine classroom hazard perception training with vehicle handling exercises and, where required, on-road or closed-course practical driving assessments. Whether your concern is reducing rear-end collisions in urban logistics, preventing rollovers in off-road construction vehicle fleets, or addressing driver fatigue in long-haul transport, ICLM has a program tailored to your fleet's specific risk profile.
