Half-Day Training

Practical half-day certification program focused on operational safety, compliance confidence, and site-level risk control.

Program Overview

Construction is consistently ranked among the most hazardous industries in the world. In 2022 alone, the construction sector accounted for approximately 20% of all worker fatalities in the United States - a statistic that reflects both the inherent dangers of the work and the critical importance of rigorous, ongoing safety training. ICLM's Construction Site Safety Training addresses the full spectrum of construction hazards, from foundation work through structural erection to finishing trades and site logistics.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has identified four hazard categories - known as the Fatal Four - that together account for over 60% of construction fatalities: falls, struck-by incidents, caught-in/between hazards, and electrocution. Every year, these entirely preventable categories of incident claim thousands of lives and leave countless more workers permanently disabled. ICLM's Construction Site Safety Training devotes intensive focus to each of these categories, equipping workers and supervisors with the specific knowledge and skills to recognize, assess, and control these hazards before they cause harm.

Benefits & Outcomes

ICLM's Construction Site Safety Training provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, assess, and control the unique hazards associated with construction site work. Upon completion, attendees will be able to:

Pre-Use Checks

Daily inspection discipline and hazard spotting basics.

Control Principles

Safe methods, sequencing, and decision making in operations.

Emergency Response

Incident communication and immediate response actions.
