Half-Day Training

Practical half-day certification program focused on operational safety, compliance confidence, and site-level risk control.

Program Overview

Every workplace that uses hazardous chemicals - from manufacturing floors to hospital laboratories - has a legal and moral obligation to ensure workers know exactly what chemicals they work with and what risks those chemicals carry. ICLM's Chemical Safety & Hazard Communication (HazCom) Training delivers comprehensive, practical education that empowers workers and safety professionals to understand chemical hazards, interpret safety information, and apply safe handling practices every single day.
Under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) 29 CFR 1910.1200 - aligned with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals - employers must provide training on chemical hazards present in the workplace, how to read and use Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and how to interpret GHS-compliant labels. Non-compliance can result in significant regulatory penalties, but more importantly, inadequate chemical safety knowledge results in chemical burns, poisoning, respiratory disease, and fatal incidents.

Benefits & Outcomes

ICLM's training goes beyond regulatory box-ticking. Our expert-led sessions use real-world chemical scenarios, hands-on SDS navigation exercises, and industry-specific case studies to ensure participants leave with genuine competence - not just a certificate. Whether your team handles industrial solvents, corrosive cleaning agents, reactive laboratory chemicals, or flammable fuels, this course is built to protect them.
